Shuigang restarts furnace after refurbishment
China’s Shuicheng Iron & Steel (Shuigang), part of the Shougang group, has completed a refurbishment of its No.4 blast furnace and relaunched production on 25 October, Kallanish notes.
The blast furnace underwent refurbishment of its top and its gas preheating machine in just sixty hours. Shuigang, in Liupanshui city in Guizhou province, is a Shougang subsidiary.
