Shrinking demand hits Hoa Phat's November output
Vietnam's leading steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has seen sharp declines in both steel production and sales in November, with weak demand prompting the mill to suspend production at several blast furnaces.
Demand in Vietnam's local and overseas steel markets remained sluggish last month, dragging down Vietnam's steel consumption to its lowest level since the beginning of the year, Kallanish notes.
