Showa Denko completes SGL acquisition bar US unit
Showa Denko (SDK) has completed the acquisition of SGL GE Holding. The German-headquartered graphite electrodes' producer thereby becomes a fully-owned Showa Denko subsidiary known as Showa Denko Carbon Holding.
The initial agreement to carry out the acquisition was signed twelve months ago (see Kallanish passim).
