Shougang Qian'an to replace converter with EAF

Shougang Qian'an Iron & Steel (Qiangang) plans to build one 160-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF) to replace the existing converter to lower carbon emissions, according to the Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province on 4 March, Kallanish notes.
