Shougang Shuicheng completes rebar mill upgrade
Shougang Group's Shuicheng Steel in Guizhou province has completed an upgrade project at its No.2 rebar mill and has restarted production at the facility, Kallanish notes.
The project was led by Chinese technology supplier MCC CERI and the mill was out of commission was 22 days. Following the upgrade, the hourly output of the production line has been increased, and the production cost/tonne has also been reduced by being able to reduce the addition of vanadium…
