Shougang autosheet output to hit 3 million tonnes
Shougang has become the biggest provider of body panels to BMW China, supplying more than 30% of its demand, the steelmaker says. The Chinese company estimates that by the end of the year its autosheet output will pass 3 million tonnes, mainly produced by its Qian’an subsidiary, Kallanish notes.
