Ferrous products shipments decline through Russian seaports
The shipment of ferrous metals through Russian sea ports was reduced during January-February 2020, shows data from Russia’s Association of Commercial Sea Ports (ASOP).
These shipments fell -11.2% on-year to 4.5 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
However, St. Petersburg port increased its ferrous metals throughput by 27% year-on-year, ASOP says.
The overall cargo turnover at Russian sea ports increased by 0.7% in January-February to 132.4mt.
