Shengquan Steel to commission phase-one EAF project
Sichuan Shengquan Iron & Steel has completed half of the first phase of its electric arc furnace project, and expects to commission it before the end of 2020, Kallanish notes.
The phase-one project includes one 100-tonne ultra-high power EAF with a capacity of 1 million tonnes/year, one 110t LF refining furnace, and one 110t VOD refining furnace. It also has one eight-strand billet caster, one bar and one wire rod production line.
