Shengquan expects EAF project completion in December
Sichuan Shengquan Iron & Steel now expects to complete the first phase of its electric arc furnace project in December. It was unable to put the plant into operation last year as it had expected, Kallanish notes.
“We have finished 80% of the construction. The main equipment could be installed in November, and the plant is estimated to be put into production in late December,” says company deputy general manager Chen Rongdong.
