Shengkai Coking upgrades coke ovens
Shengkai Coking in Qujing City of Yunnan Province plans to complete the construction of two coke ovens in June this year. This will add 1 million tonnes/year of coke capacity, Kallanish notes.
The plant is building two 56-oven tamping coke batteries with a carbonization chamber height of 5.5 meters. Construction of the project started in 2020.
