Shengbao publicly auctions capacity quotas
Hebei province’s Shengbao Steel is to sell its iron and steel production capacity quotas instead of building a new steel production base, according to market reports.
Shengbao Steel was interested in relocating to Liaoning province, and subsequently announced plans to relocate to Guangdong and Jiangxi. All these plans have been cancelled, Kallanish notes.
