Shell cracks on with Pennsylvania petrochem project
Shell’s long-planned $6 billion ethane cracker in U.S.’s Pennsylvania state could see significant progress by late-2017 or 2018. Shell ceo Ben van Beurden revealed this during an analysts’ presentation on Thursday monitored by Kallanish Steel’s sister publication Kallanish Energy. Local media suggest however that the multi-billion dollar project may not use much US-sourced steel.
