Sheet prices hold in the US

US domestic prices of hot rolled and cold rolled coil remained stable this week, ranging from $1,175-1,200/short ton and $1,300-1,350/st, respectively, Kallanish confirms. Profits decreased for many mills, according to recent earning calls, due to lower prices on HRC and CRC, but demand remained high. HRC ranged from $1,450-1,500/st and CRC ranged from $1,840-1,850/st in the equivalent week in 2022. All prices are ex-works domestic mill.
