Sheet can only improve from here: US Steel
The US flat-rolled market can really only improve from the lows hit during the second quarter - in terms of both demand pricing, says US Steel ceo David Burritt.
On the company’s quarterly conference call with analysts, Burritt said the company’s recent $40/short ton flat-rolled base increase has seen “...some early successes based on some of the recent order status.”
