Shaoguan restructuring suggests Baosteel shakeup
Southern China’s Shaoguan Iron and Steel (SGIS) has announced a restructuring which will see it exchange assets with its parent, Baosteel. The swap may be part of a wider process which will concentrate the group’s steelmaking under Baosteel’s main Shanghai-listed arm, Kallanish notes.
