Shanxi Yuwang receives upgrade project environmental approval
China’s Shanxi Yuwang Coal Gasification Co., Ltd. has received the environmental approval for its coke project, according to the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shanxi Province.
The project was planned as China requires coking companies to upgrade their facilities to control carbon emissions. Yuwang will build two 6.25 -metre 65-oven coke batteries with 1.37 million tonnes/year capacity in total, Kallanish notes.
