Shanxi Yongdong adds needle coke capacity
Shenzhen-listed Shanxi Yongdong Chemistry Industry has finally put its coal-based needle coke project into production, one year later than its initial plan.
The project has 40,000 tonnes/year of needle coke capacity, but it needs some time to ramp up output to full capacity, Kallanish notes. The company declares that it has signed agreements with some intended customers.
