Shanxi Xingyuan ceases production and deregisters
Xingyuan Iron & Steel, located in Xiangfen county in northern China's Shanxi province, has cancelled its production licence and halted production.
The company put its steelmaking equipment and assets up for sale in April. Established in 2003, the company has coking capacity of 600,000 tonnes/year, iron capacity of 1.85 million t/y, steel capacity of 2m t/y, and rolling capacity of 1.8m t/y, Kallanish learns.
