Shanxi Xiaoyi restricts coke ovens due to pollution
The Xiaoyi Municipal Government of Shanxi Province issued a document this week saying that coke ovens with a carbonisation chamber height of 4.3 meters or less should all be banked this month, Kallanish notes. This is because Xiaoyi City was among the ten cities with the worst air quality in Shanxi Province in April.
