Shanxi MeiShanhu plans UHP GE project
According to the Jishan Government in Shanxi Province, Meishanhu Technology has an ultra high powered graphite electrodes project undergoing environmental assessment. The total capacity for 600mm and above diameter electrodes is expected to be 60,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
The first phase has capacity of 30,000 t/y in Jishan New Coal Chemical Industrial Park. The construction includes dipping and baking workshops and a dust removal system.
