Shanxi Juyuan regains approval for coke project
Shanxi Juyuan Coal Chemical Company has regained approval from the Shanxi Department of Ecology and Environment to build its 3 million tonnes/year coke project, Kallanish notes.
The company started the project in March 2020 and started the construction of the No.1 coke oven in November the same year. However, the project was suspended in April 2021 by the local government due to excessive water intake and the start of work before approval.
