Shanxi Jingang hot tests No.2 galvanizing mill
China’s Shanxi Jinnan Iron & Steel (Jingang) has successfully hot tested its No.2 continuous hot-dip galvanizing unit, which is the eighth production line commissioned as part of its cold rolling project.
The equipment was designed and provided by MCC Capital Engineering & Research Corporation. It houses 350,000 tonnes/year of galvanized coil capacity and a maximum operating speed of 180 metres/minute, Kallanish notes.
