Shanxi Changzhi plans 15mt crude steel capacity
Changzhi City in Shanxi province says it plans to reach 15 million tonnes/year of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
In Licheng County Industrial Park, Changzhi will build 10m t/y of crude steel and 4m t/y of coke capacity by integrating the city's steel capacity. Finished steel production will consist mainly of new construction high-quality long steel, sections, plate and pipe.
