Shangang Yongfeng Zibo to shut down by month-end
Shandong Iron & Steel Group subsidiary Yongfeng Zibo Company will completely stop production by the end of month, Kallanish notes.
The company now has one 1,350m³ blast furnace and two 120-tonne converters. This equipment to be dismantled will supply capacity quotas of 1.22 million tonnes/year of hot metal and 2.7m t/y of crude steel, which will be used by sister company Shangang Yongfeng Lingang Co.
