Shangang Yongfeng starts blast furnace construction
Shandong Iron & Steel Group subsidiary Yongfeng Steel started the construction in Linyi, Shandong Province of its two 1,350-cubic-metre blast furnaces.
The works will ultimately have a special steel capacity of 6 million tonnes/year. With an investment of CNY 13.66 billion ($1.95 billion), it is being carried out by Shanghai Baoye Group, and is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2021, Kallanish notes.
