Shangang's Yongfeng amends capacity replacement plan
The Ministry of Industrial and Information Technology in Shandong province has announced an update to Shandong Iron & Steel (Shangang) group's Yongfeng Steel’s capacity replacement project. Shangang will see a net reduction of 22,700 tonnes/year of iron capacity and 16,700 t/y steel capacity from the former plan, Kallanish notes.
