Shangang Rizhao begins second blast furnace construction
Shandong Iron & Steel's (Shangang) Rizhao steelworks project has started the construction of its second 5,100 cubic metre blast furnace. The first 5,100 cu m BF completed construction in November 2016, making Shangang the fourth steel group in China to own a BF above 5,000 cu m, Kallanish notes.
