Shangang Rizhao commissions first stage
Shandong Iron & Steel (Shangang)’s Rizhao steel site is reported to have commissioned the first stage of its first phase steelworks in recent days. This implies half of the 8.1 million tonnes/year of iron capacity, 8.5m t/y of crude steel capacity and 7.9m t/y of finished steel capacity have already put into production, Kallanish notes.
