Shangang Rizhao to commission first blast furnace
Shandong Iron & Steel (Shangang) successfully hot tested the hot blast stove of the No.1 5,100 cubic metre blast furnace at its Rizhao site on 6 August, according to a company announcement. The move marks the imminent commissioning of Shangang Rizhao's first blast furnace, Kallanish notes.
Shangang Group’s leaders and EPC contractor Shandong Metallurgical Design Institute attended the celebration ceremony.
