Shangang Rizhao to commission first phase coke ovens
Shandong Iron & Steel (Shangang) has recently implemented the first heat of the No.2 coke oven at its new Rizhao steelworks, according to the Shandong provincial State-owned Assets and Administration Commission. The announcement shows that the first phase of Rizhao's coke oven project includes two 58-furnace coke ovens with a designed coking capacity of 1.6 million tonnes/year.
