Shangang Rizhao begins plate mill construction
On 15 July, Shandong Iron & Steel began construction on its relocated 4.3 mm medium plate line at its new Rizhao steelworks location, according to project contractor Baoye Group. The line was previously at Jinan Iron & Steel (Jigang) and had an annual capacity of 1.8 million tonnes/year.
