Shangang closes Jinan converter
Eastern China's Shandong Iron & Steel Limited Company (Shangang) has permanently shut down a converter at its Jinan Iron and Steel subsidiary, according to local media. The move is part of the company’s plan to transform its capacity to boost profit, Kallanish notes.
