Shandong Yiwei constructs needle coke project
Shandong Yiwei New Material has released the plan for its needle coke project, which has been listed as one of the key projects in Dongying City, Kallanish notes. Construction has already started.
The company will invest CNY 1.7 billion ($258.78 million) into the project, which will be located at Shandong Yiwei’s existing factory. The design capacity includes 150,000 tonnes/year of needle coke and 150,000 t/y of ultra-high-power electrodes.
