Shandong to eliminate 1.8mt coking capacity in 2021
The Shandong Province press office has revealed that the province’s coking capacity reduction target this year is 1.8 million tonnes/year. Coke producers in the province will continue to be required to close four coke ovens with a carbonisation chamber height of less than 5.5 meters, Kallanish notes.
