Shandong to relocate polluting industrial companies
Shandong Province has set a requirement that PM2.5 average concentration should be decreased by -2% over the winter restriction period from 1 October 2018 to 31 March 2019. As part of plans to achieve this, heavily polluting industrial companies including Shandong Minyuan Steel are required to relocate or achieve the latest ultra-low emission standards, Kallanish notes.
