Shandong Lingang prepares for official production
The Shandong provincial authorities have inspected and approved the production capacity of Linyi Iron & Steel Investment Group's (Lingang’s) replacement project. This indicates the project will soon enter hot testing and production, Kallanish notes.
Lingang has already started to hot test the only 2,770 cubic metre-blast furnace in May (see Kallanish 30 May), while two new 120-tonne converters have been commissioned recently.
