Shagang shuts down one 75-t EAF
Jiangsu Shagang Group has publically announced it permanently shut down one 75-tonne electric arc furnace on 30 June, according to the provincial Development & Reform Commission (DRC). The EAF had 830,000 tonnes/year of crude steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
