Shagang orders Castrip plant
Eastern China’s Jiangsu Shagang Group has signed a deal with the USA’s Castrip to build a new plant to replace an existing caster and rolling mill with its technology. The investment could cut costs, energy consumption and environmental footprint at an important steel exporter, Kallanish notes.
