Shagang announces sharp reduction in HRC offers
Major eastern Chinese steel mill Shagang has published a sharp drop in its hot rolled coil offers in September, Kallanish notes.
Shagang's Q235B 5.5x1500mm HRC is now offered at CNY 3,780/tonne ($529/t) ex-works including VAT. Meanwhile, the steelmaker plans to give a subsidy of CNY 320/t to agents which achieved their sales targets last month.
