Shaanxi Hanzhong Steel builds new electric arc furnace
Shaanxi Hanzhong Iron & Steel began construction of a 75-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking project on 25 December, Kallanish notes. According to documents from the Shaanxi Provincial Industrial and Information Committee, the new EAF capacity was obtained by eliminating an old converter.
