Shanghai Futures Exchange launches stainless steel trading
The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) ushered in the first trading day of stainless steel futures on 25 September, Kallanish notes.
Six stainless producers have registered nine brands for delivery against stainless steel futures on SHFE. The companies are Baoxin/Baosteel Stainless, Jiuquan Iron & Steel (JISCO), Lianzhong Stainless, Fujian Yongjin/Jiangsu Yongjin, Beihai Chengde/Foshan Chengde and the Hongwang Group.
