Severstal to upgrade Cherepovets finishing shop
Russia's Severstal will modernise the second metal finishing shop at its Cherepovets integrated steel mill by adding a processing unit, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker and miner.
The upgrade will allow the company to increase its high-quality steel product shipments to customers by 650,000 tonnes/year, Vadim Germanov, director at Severstal's Russian steel division, says in a statement.
