Severstal ships record volume to automotive sector
Severstal’s flagship Cherepovets steel mill has increased galvanized sheet shipments to the automotive sector, the Russian steelmaker says.
These deliveries totalled 10,500 tonnes each in January and February, which is a new monthly record. Previously, the plant shipped an average of 7,000 t/month, Kallanish notes.
