Severstal ships LDP to Brazil
Russian vertically-integrated steelmaker Severstal has completed delivery of a first consignment of large-diameter pipe (LDP) to Brazil's Barcarena LNG.
The lot containing pipe of 508mm diameter, wall thickness of 12.7mm and 11-11.8m length was produced by the company's Izhora Pipe plant in St. Petersburg. It was manufactured according to API 5L PSL2 standard with X65M strength category and contained additional requirements for offshore pipelines.
