Severstal reduces June output amid lost Western markets
Severstal has decreased production in June, in line with its projection at the end of May, the company tells Kallanish.
“The volume of output reduced by 20-25% this month,” a spokesperson says. “This was mainly due to the closure of Western markets and the unprofitability of supplies for long-distance exports due to the strong rouble.”
