Severstal presses ahead with longs mill-170
Russian miner and steelmaker Severstal is continuing construction of bar and wire rod rolling mill-170 at its principal Cherepovets works.
The firm is currently laying concrete foundations for the roughing mill, while refractory works are being implemented on the heating furnace. The company expects to complete 90% of foundation works before the end of October, it says.
