Severstal orders new pickling line from Danieli
Russian miner and steelmaker Severstal has contracted Danieli to supply a new continuous pickling line for its Cherepovets steel plant, Kallanish learns from the technology supplier.
The line will process over 2 million tonnes/year of strip in a wide range of different steel grades. Processed coils will have a maximum width of 1,850mm and thicknesses between 1.2-6mm, Danieli informs in a statement.
