Severstal-metiz commissions precision cold-rolled strip line
Severstal’s metalware arm, Severstal-metiz, has put into commercial operation a new production complex. This is a line for the production of high-precision cold-rolled strip located in the steel shaped sections shop at its Cherepovets site, the company says.
The design capacity of the equipment is 5,200 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. Total investment amounted to RUB 287 million ($4m).
