Severstal-metiz ramps up production after upgrades
Severstal’s metalware arm, Severstal-metiz, reached several production records in May at steel wire shop No.1 at its Cherepovets site, the company says.
The plant produced 10,548 tonnes of galvanized wire, up 503t on the previous record, Kallanish notes. The rope shop produced 5,500t of stabilised reinforcing ropes, which is 600t more than the previous record.
