Severstal issues CR mill revamp acceptance certificate
Severstal has issued SMS with the final acceptance certificate for its revamped tandem cold mill 2100 at Cherepovets. The work was completed in an exceptionally short time, according to the German technology supplier.
The rolling mill, whose revamp saw cold rolled coil capacity increase by 200,000 tonnes/year to 1.3 million t/y, was restarted last May (see Kallanish passim).
